Was starting to feel insecure about my little business and whether or not I could make it work. Now I have a spring in my step. I will give it my best and see what happens. One step at a time. Thanks x

I went plant-based immediately, and it has made such an amazing difference in my life. I am grateful for all those (Happy Pear, included) who have these wonderful platforms to educate and provide inspiration!

So thought-provoking and relatable. I struggled for years with feeling that I was not “good enough.” It didn’t matter what it was: wife, mother, teacher, etc. After my heart attack, (at only 52!), I was at my most vulnerable. My health, emotions, spirit…all of it. And that vulnerability and fear is where the magic happens. I immersed myself in yoga and self-study. I gave up perfectionism and learned to be grateful for ME. I learned to treat myself as kindly as I do others. Just as important, I’ve recognized that I am good enough right this moment. Is there “room for improvement? Absolutely! I’m not perfect and that is okay. Instead of judging myself, I give myself grace. I give myself room to grow. I surround myself with people who are not afraid of my vulnerabilities and don’t judge them. We learn from each other and support each other. It really helps one get through the insecurities when there is open communication in relationships and a willingness to move through the emotions. I’ll say it again:
Vulnerability is where the magic happens.
Thank you for reminding me!
