I feel sluggish if I don’t even if it is only some gentle stretches. I walk the dogs and value the time to appreciate what I can see and hear during the walk. I’ve not yet found the mental strength to try a cold water shower but you have inspired me to try again.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and daily rituals.

Here’s what I get up to most mornings. I always start with the big glass of water I leave beside my bed. I have the lemon water when I go down to the kitchen. Most mornings I start with a shower, hot & cold water alternating. I do a short Zach Bush body wake up with squats and a few arm exercises. Then down to make my lemon & water, knock back a shot of cayenne pepper in water and make a big pot of herbal tea which I will sip through the day. I like to get an hour of study done so put some essential oil, rosemary & wild orange in the diffuser, and settle down before my doggie comes and tells me it’s time for a walk. While walking, I listen to podcasts, try to remember to breath deeply, take the quiet pauses and enjoy wherever I am.

I went back and read the past 3 entries. Sharing your thoughts has put me in a good and calm mood. I have stopped a few times while reading to ponder how I start my days. Thank you for doing this.
Be well, Paul

As I don’t have the sea nearby I step outside barefoot every morning and feel the garden’s grass under my toes, no matter the weather. I take a few breaths and greet the plants and birds, then cuddle into a blanket and enjoy my first cup of coffee before I return inside and prep the school snacks for the kids. Your blog inspires me to get in some movement! Have a wonderful day everybody.

When you first started sending it , my mental health was too low to even contemplate reading it.
Now I’ve turned a corner and am absorbing your blog. I’ve always had a morning routine – yoga/Pilates followed by walking the dogs.
Now I am enthused to start the cold water swimming. If you knew how much I hate the cold (we migrate south for winter) you’d know how difficult this will be. First day tomorrow!
Thank you for your support and encouragement
