When I walked into Soho Theatre Bar last night, it was like walking into a big warm media hug. Located on Dean Street, Soho Theatre Bar is one of the hot spots for media people working around Soho.
Right by the Gaucho club, a members only club which boast members like Stephen Fry and Ben Elton, I have to say it really did feel like a very cool place to be on a Thursday night.
Though all the tables were full, the bar was well staffed and so was refreshingly empty. After ordering a beer we grabbed a table right by the window. The posters all over the walls were lit by a dark pink light, which gives the bar a bit of an 80s vibe. (I’m always a fan of anything retro 80s).
The large neon ‘Soho’ lights are the focal point of the bar. You can see them from the street outside.
The drinks were reasonably priced and the athmosphere was really cool. I’d go back here for any kind of informal meet-up or a chilled drink.
This was my first time here, but leave me a comment if you’ve been going here for years? Or have you just visited once like me?
