It has been pretty hard to ignore Dalloway Terrace recently. It feels like Dalloway Terrace has been popping up on my instagram and YouTube constantly for months now; so I couldn’t wait to visit and see if it really was as beautiful as it looks online!
Though Dalloway Terrace is a destination in itself, it is actually attached to the side of the Bloomsbury Hotel, just a minute away from Tottenham Court Road and the bustle of Oxford Street. Yet inside the restaurant it couldn’t feel further away; elegant and quintessentially British, everything feels calm and peaceful, from the décor to the other diners and the beautiful flowers which fill the restaurant.
You definitely need to book for Dalloway Terrace, perhaps only a few days in advance, but I believe they get booked up a lot of the time. I visited on a Tuesday evening during our English summer heat wave, and every seat was filled.
As a result of being in high demand, they are able to charge some quite high prices for dining and drinks. It isn’t extortionate, but it’s on the high side. Nevertheless, its still worth it for the ‘Dalloway’ experience. We went for a bottle of prosecco, a main each and some sides and it was £90.
The experience was really relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed for 2.5hours and probably could have stayed longer. I’d recommend Dalloway Terrace for a special occasion with family or friends. It’s a classy and memorable experience, definitely worth a visit or two.
